Getting Started Directions
- You can find all of the directions here at http://omli2012.weebly.com/ under the day's directions.
- Open two windows so you can go back and forth between the directions and your site.
- Log in to your site by using your username and password. You can get access to the student log in site here.
- Click on "Edit Site." Do NOT create a new site!
- Find your name. Always double check to make sure you are editing your own page. You are sharing this larger site with about 200 students, so please make sure it is your page :-)
- Make it your own by using the "Elements".
- Write away! The focus should be on writing.
- Hit the orange "Publish" button in the upper right hand corner about every five minutes or after you make a major change. Most of your changes will automatically save, but they will not be published until you hit the button. You can see changes by following the link that appears in a new window when you publish.
Uploading Pictures
The pictures are saved on Dropbox. When you upload one, go to "My Documents," "Dropbox" and the folder that has today's date. Select the one(s) you want.

Ending Your Session
It is important for you to log out of your Weebly editing session! You are sharing the computer with others. If you don't log out, they may accidentally make changes to your site. It is also a good practice to log out of any site you use, especially on a shared computer.
