Animoto This turns pictures into video presentations. It can be used on a tablet as well as on the computer. You can sign up for free accounts for 30 second movies. If you want to do the longer 5 minute ones, you need to pay or possibly share the Animoto site for educators with one of your teachers. Teachers can get free accounts that make the longer versions.
Educreations This app is currently used for the iPad. It can also be used on a computer. You can record your voice over any picture. You can also draw on the picture at the same time. It turns your creation into a link that you can share. It is viewable on the computer.
Vacaroo This site allows you to record audio and share it via a link. You can also download it as a mp3 file. See the bottom of this page where it is embedded in this site. Give it a try!
Voicethread This can be used to add your voice, video, text, or drawing to pictures. You can have an interactive conversation with others on the site as well. Voicethread accounts are free too and allow for five free creations.
Weebly We used Weebly to create our sites. Free accounts are available. The don't have all of the tools we had access to here, but they have many.
